What Did AU Make Happen in AY 2018-19? Read Our New Magazine!

Ajman University is proud to announce the launch of our first “Year in Review” magazine, which showcases the major accomplishments of Academic Year 2018-2019. As evidenced by the pictures and stories in these pages, AU certainly made a lot happen in the span of 12 months!

One of the most exciting achievements captured in this report is AU’s performance in the 2020 QS World University Rankings (QSWUR), released on June 19, 2019. AU is now ranked among the top 800 institutions globally - which puts us in the top 2.8% of universities worldwide and the top 1.7% of Arab institutions. QS also ranked AU as having the 4th most international faculty and 6th most international students in the entire world!

"Being recognized as one of the most diverse institutions on the globe is a truly remarkable distinction," explains Chancellor Karim Seghir. "AU is also gaining international recognition as a distinctly humanitarian institution. Our faculty and students - from 32 and 70 countries, respectively - demonstrate great passion for innovation and deep compassion for society."

In May 2019, the University was awarded “Five QS Stars” - the highest possible ratings by the QS Intelligence Unit - for our efforts in Social Responsibility. We also earned Five QS Stars for Inclusiveness and Facilities. Ajman University is committed to being the change we want to see in the world. Keep making it happen with us!
