Dr. Walaa Mohamed Shaaban Elsayed is an Assistant Professor of Social Work in the Department of Sociology and Social Work, College of Humanities and Sciences, Ajman University. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Work, specializing in community organization (2013). With over 20 years of teaching experience, starting in 2004, she has authored numerous research articles in the field of social services, published in prestigious scientific journals. Dr. Elsayed has actively participated in a wide range of conferences, seminars, and workshops, both locally and internationally. She is an accredited reviewer for several prominent scientific journals and research awards, both within the Arab world and globally. Dr. Elsayed has been honored with several prestigious research awards, including the Rashid Bin Humaid Award for Culture and Science in Scientific Research (Social Studies Axis) in 2021. Her dedication to academic excellence and community contributions has also earned her numerous certificates of appreciation.
