Dr. Maher Assaad received his Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Microelectronics IC Design from the University of Montreal, Canada, in 2002, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics IC Design from the University of Glasgow, U.K., in 2009. He has served as a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology PETRONAS, Malaysia, and as an Associate Professor in Electronic and Communication Engineering at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah. Currently, he is a Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Ajman University, UAE. His research interests include the design of analog and digital circuits for sensing and communication systems.
