Prof. Dr. Kelvin Afrashtehfar | Prosthodontist | Global Leader in Oral Rehabilitation, Aesthetic Dentistry & Implantology | Innovator in Dental Education & Practice | Prof. Dr. Kelvin Afrashtehfar is a triple board-certified prosthodontist (EU, CA, MX) renowned for his expertise in advanced oral reconstruction, implantology, and aesthetic dentistry. Combining clinical precision, academic excellence, and entrepreneurial vision, he is a trusted authority in restoring and improving smiles as well as advancing dental care globally. In November 2024, Prof. Afrashtehfar earned three esthetics awards in an international competition for Best Clinical Cases in Fixed Restorative, Removable Restorative, and Multidisciplinary Dentistry, proving his artistry and professional expertise. Practicing in the UAE, he serves an elite clientele, including Western celebrities, Arabian royalty, and global executives, at premier clinics such as Marina Dental Center (Dubai Knowledge Park), Oral Implantology Medical Center (Deira), and Nova Health Center (Abu Dhabi). His approach merges evidence-based care with a dedication to luxury dental experiences, while also providing services to underserved populations at Leila Hariri Dental & Medical Aesthetics (Jumeira). In academia, Prof. Afrashtehfar holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of Bern, has served as a Visiting Professor at Yonsei University (Seoul) and the University of Zurich, and formerly was a Professor of Prosthodontics at Ajman University. He remains actively involved in education as Vice President of the Evidence-Based Dentistry Network and Instructor with the Implant Dentistry Study Consortium (IDSC), the UAE’s leading implant licensure program. Recognized as a Top 2% Global Scientist by Stanford University since 2022, he has over 300 publications, cementing his influence in both academia and practice. His research is celebrated for its clinical impact and innovative methodologies. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Prof. Afrashtehfar contributes through Points of Smile, a charitable initiative providing dental care, and mentors the next generation of dental professionals. Fluent in English and Spanish, with a global outlook honed by international practice, he balances his career with personal passions for cinema, travel, fine dining, and golf.
