Ammar Rashid

Dr. Ammar Rashid is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the College of Engineering and IT. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Information Systems from New Zealand and brings over 15 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, consulting, and academic leadership across the USA, New Zealand, and Pakistan. Previously, Dr. Rashid served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at NUR International University (NIU). Prior to NIU, he held multiple leadership roles at UCP Business School, including Assistant Professor, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, Head of Division, and Principal Researcher. From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Rashid was a faculty member in the Department of Business Information Systems at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Business School, New Zealand. During his tenure at AUT and UCP, he initiated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) certification and training programs, including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Dr. Rashid has also developed and recorded 50 hours of video lectures on Enterprise Resource Planning for BBA and MBA students at the Virtual University of Pakistan. He actively contributes to the academic community by serving on the editorial and advisory boards of several international journals.
