The College of Law Organizes a Lecture on Practical Issues in the Rules of Evidence

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop students' legal skills, the College of Law at Ajman University hosted His Excellency Judge Khaled Shaheer, Judge at the Primary Court – Ajman Court, to deliver a lecture titled “Practical Issues in the Rules of Evidence.” The session was attended by faculty members and students from the college.

The lecture explored the practical dimensions of evidentiary rules within judicial proceedings. His Excellency Judge Khaled Shaheer presented a detailed review of real-life cases he encountered in court, focusing on the mechanisms for handling various types of evidence, including testimonies, documents, confessions, and presumptions. He clarified the role each type of evidence plays in forming judicial conviction and discussed the main challenges faced by judges and litigants during the course of evidentiary disputes, outlining legal approaches to address such issues in accordance with the legislative framework in the United Arab Emirates.
