Distinguished Alumnus Architect Jamal Hamsho Shines at Dubai Design Week 2024

Ajman University is pleased to announce that alumnus Jamal Hamsho from the College of Architecture, Art, and Design (CAAD) has been chosen to showcase his artistically designed furniture at the UAE Designer Exhibition 5.0 during the Dubai Design Week 2024. Jamal is currently practicing architecture at the prestigious firm P&T Architects, where his commitment to innovative and sustainable design has garnered significant recognition.

This exhibition highlights emerging talent from the UAE, featuring over 30 visionary creatives whose designs bring emotional depth and innovation to Downtown Design. Inspired by the Brutalist school of architecture, Jamal’s work skillfully captures the raw, unrefined beauty of materials such as concrete and steel. His approach balances functionality with bold, minimalist aesthetics, reflecting the creativity and dedication that CAAD alumni contribute to the design world.
