Academic cooperation between the College of Mass Communication and the College of Humanities and Sciences

Within the framework of academic cooperation and exchange of experiences between faculty members at Ajman University, Dr. Amal Badr, Associate Professor at the College of Mass Communication, participated in a lecture entitled (Effective Communication in the Workplace) for students of the Industrial Psychology course; under the supervision of Dr. Dalia Bedawi, Associate Professor at the College of Humanities and Sciences. The lecture focused on strategies for improving communication skills in the workplace, the skills that contribute to achieving effective and successful communication, the importance of delivering messages effectively, the importance of listening, using positive and influential language, encouraging dialogue and open discussion, practicing empathy and understanding, avoiding misunderstandings, respecting different opinions, how to benefit from technology to improve communication, in addition to tips for enhancing communication skills within a professional environment. The workshop witnessed a large attendance of male and female students who benefited from the lecture and confirmed their enthusiasm to apply the skills they acquired in the work environment.
