The Office of Student Life organized a workshop titled "Writing and Artificial Intelligence," featuring the Emirati writer and researcher, Dr. Mohammed Hamdan bin Jarsh Al Suwaidi.
The session covered several key points, highlighting the positive impact of artificial intelligence on writing, and how artificial intelligence can be used to correct grammatical errors and generate new ideas. Additionally, it can provide new insights for writers. However, Dr. Bin Jarsh emphasized that relying on artificial intelligence can have negative effects on a writer’s creativity and may result in texts lacking human emotions.
Later, the students participated in an exercise to develop creative texts using their imagination and skills. The results were outstanding as it uncovered the hidden talents of the aspiring writers.
