Ajman University (AU) students have stolen the show and won gold and silver medals in the Higher Education Sports Federation (HESF) Jujitsu Championship.
Abdul Rahman Badr, a student in the College of Engineering and Information Technology, pushed back all competitors, and won the first place and gold medal in the ‘Under 69kg Weight Division’.
Yassir Abdulrahman, a student of the College of Mass Communication, secured the second position and silver medal in the ‘Under 94kg Weight Category’, though.
A big number of players from all colleges in universities nationwide have chipped in stiff competition which witnessed crowds of student fans.
AU Sports Supervisor Captain Abdel Hamid Bakour applauded the spellbinding results of Ajman University players, while the Deanship of Student Affairs congratulated the players on their advanced positions.
