Engineering Students Win AU Basketball Championship

Students of Architectural Engineering have managed to rank first in the Ajman University College Basketball Championship, for females.

The tournament, held on an annual basis, is part of Ajman University internal sports activities that are aimed to motivate the students and help them best avail their leisure time.

Such sports activities are also meant to fit activity into their life, keep them busy with valuable sports activities, protect their health, and hence boost their academic performance.  

Managed by the Sports Supervisor Manal Al Katalbi and Coach Amani Salam, the matches were held at the AU Sports Complex where the students’ adrenaline was running high.

The function saw the participation of several female teams from the colleges of Dentistry, Engineering, Interior Design, Pharmacy and Business, Ajman University.

The College of Architectural Engineering pushed back all teams and seizes the first place, followed by the College of Pharmacy and the College of Dentistry for the second and third ranks.  Medals were given to the top three.
