Curtains Down on AU Inter-College Sports Tournament

After 17 days of diverse competitions, the Ajman University (AU) Inter-College Sports Tournament Fall 2019 came to a close with a big boom.

The tournament, assumed by the Office of Athletics, was held at the AU multi-purpose Sports Complex over the period from October 26 to November 11.

Up to 174 male and female students of all colleges vied in the tournament which witnessed an array of sports spanning basketball, soccer, futsal, badminton, and basketball.

The tournament, aimed to develop students' awareness about the importance of playing sports, helps enhance their personality and boost their skills.

The concluding ceremony saw the presence of AU Chancellor, Dr Karim Seghir who presented the AU Cup to the College of Engineering and Information Technology.
