World Heart Day was celebrated by providing CPR workshop to the staff of the Canadian Nursery located in the Emirate of Ajman. The 23 employees benefitted from this workshop and were given basic training by Dr. Alaa Al Amri from Ajman University, which is very important in case of emergency for every life. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions often with artificial ventilation in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. The staff was very thankful for this initiative done by Office of Community Engagement. Registration for training was available for free and open to all Nursery staff. The training was held during the month of October 2019
