Ajman University (AU), in a vibrant colorful setting, has run the 2019 edition of the Creative Fine Arts University Festival that attracted 200 masterpieces from seven universities nationwide.
The function, run by the AU Fine Arts Centre, witnessed stunning works of students from the UAE University, University of Sharjah, Al Qasimia University, Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah, and American University of Ras Al Khaimah.
Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi, AU Dean of Student Affairs, inaugurated the pulsating festival, which covered several fields, including drawing & painting, photography, calligraphy, and art works.
A student from the Al Qasimia University came first in the drawing and painting category, followed by students from the University of Sharjah and UAE University in the second and third places.
Also, a student from the Al Qasimia University, ranked first in the calligraphy branch, followed by students from Ajman University in the second and third positions.
As for photography section, a student from the University of Sharjah won the first place, followed by Al Qasimia University in the second, and Ajman University in the third. Finally, Ajman University secured the first and second places in the art works category.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology Prof. Fahr Hayati, Dr. Mohammed Helal, Director General, Office of Student Life, and Ms. Mona Al-Jabali, Fine Arts Executive at Ajman University.
