Ajman University has organized a trip to the Future Blockchain Summit held recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai.
The Office of Career & Placement Services at the Deanship of Student Services has run the trip supervised by Mrs. Ghada Al Masri, while Mr. Jacob from Datron company took the students in a 30-minute tour round the exhibition.
The electrifying activity was a prodigious opportunity for AU students to learn more about blockchain and gain insight into the intriguing world of this new technology.
They were also able to network with participant companies, attend some seminars, and learn how blockchain technology is used in business, and meet with some companies using this technology, like DEWA and Finablr.
Meanwhile, the students used the ‘City of the Future’ smart app which allowed them to earn some points they used in buying beverages and food. They collected more points and spent them in buying pizza.
