AU Sports Teams Seize Top Ranks in HESF Games

The Higher Education Sports Federation (HESF) has honored Ajman University (AU) sports teams for their exceptional performance and top ranks.

While the top three universities in each sport were honored, the AU Eagles stole the show with the top five ranks in weightlifting, karate, taekwondo, table tennis and tennis.

Ajman University female teams also shined up and seized the top three positions in table tennis, as well as individual and team chess competitions.

The honoring ceremony took place at the closing ceremony of the sports activities for the academic year 2018-2019 that was held recently at the University of Sharjah (UOS).

Present were Dr. Saeed Hamad Al Hassani, President of the Sports Federation of Higher Education Institutions, UOS Chancellor, Deans, winning universities, sports activities supervisors and a large student audience.
