Students of pharmacy at Ajman University (AU), out of commitment towards the community, have paid a visit to the Senior Emirati Happiness Center, Ajman.
Professor Nageeb Hasan, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, said the visit, part of a health education campaign, is meant to spread health awareness.
“The visit, led by Dr Nihal Ibrahim, helped enlighten the students about many health problems facing this important system of the community.”
The senior people herein at the Center were given valuable information on the proper healthy lifestyle, he added.
“They were also trained how to better control diabetes, hypertension and other diseases.”
The students’ active participation will remarkably broaden their horizons, he underlined.
“It will also act as a positive communication platform between our college and the community.”
