The Unit of Student Activities and Development at the Deanship of Students Affairs, Ajman University (AU), has organized a workshop on tolerance under the theme ‘Change your life… Start Now’.
The session, led by Dr Soha Imam, Manager, Unit of Students Activities and Development, enlightened the students about the importance of tolerance, turning it into a regular practice, and its positive impact on individuals and groups.
Dr Soha briefed the students on Donald Walsh’s famous book ‘Forgiveness, the Greatest Healer of All’ which spotlights the remarkable impact of tolerance on individuals and the entire society.
“Forgiveness can sort out all internal and external problems and help us reach a high level of self-reconciliation and peace of mind.”
The participant students were asked to exchange and discuss their ideas and practices related to tolerance.
Dr Soha said the AU Deanship of Students Affairs spares no effort to hold such cultural sessions and have a fruitful discussion on a number of valuable books under the ‘Let’s read’ series.
