Ajman University (AU), all set to empower youth, is to offer scholarships up to Dh20 million on an annual basis to 66 per cent of its students.

Dr Seghir said Ajman University has wide opened the door for donation. “We have come up with an innovative principle of giving whereby Ajman University auctioned off its rare items to make a positive on students’ academic life and future.”
The one-of-a-kind items that came under the hammer included an Ajman-issued car number plate presented by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, he added.
“Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Vice President of the Board of Trustees, has contributed a classic Volkswagen car.”
The other contributions spanned a limited edition Hublot watch from Ahmed Siddiqui and sons, part of the Kaaba Kiswa or cover and a Quran cop wrapped wrapped in part of Kaaba Kiswa from the World Youth Business Club, and an inspiring painting by Ms. Mona Al-Jabali, Fine Arts Executive at Ajman University, he elaborated.
Dr. Seghir hailed H.H Sheikh Humaid for his visionary leadership of Ajman University. “With his wise leadership and continuous support, this historic institution has earned a place on the global map of higher education.”

“We also received Four QS Stars in the categories of teaching and internationalization. These ratings prove, yet again, that AU is an institution of excellence fully committed to social responsibility.”
