As part of the Visiting Scholars Program, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) at Ajman University hosted Dr. Vivek Gupta, Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research at St. John’s University, USA. Dr. Gupta’s visit on January 20-21 was a notable event. During his time at COPHS, he shared his vast expertise in pharmaceutical sciences, engaging with both faculty and students. His lecture on January 20, titled “Deciphering Solubility Enhancement Approaches for Poorly Soluble Drugs,” sparked thought-provoking discussions on advanced research techniques and emerging trends in healthcare. The lecture also underscored potential collaboration opportunities in drug delivery research. Additionally, Dr. Gupta interacted with students presenting posters at the “International Conference of Pharmacy & Medicine” on January 21.
