COPHS hosted a lecture by Dr. Donnelly, University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Retzky College of Pharmacy

Dr. Andrew Donnelly, Executive Director of Pharmacy at UI Health and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Retzky College of Pharmacy, delivered a presentation titled “Contemporary Pharmacy Services in the United States” to faculty and students at the University of Ajman College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on January 9th. The lecture was followed by an engaging Q&A session where Dr. Donnelly and Dr. Jan Engle, ACPE Executive Director, addressed students’ questions regarding pharmacy practice in the United States.

Professor Abeer AlGhananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, emphasized the significance of this event as part of the college’s strategic planning to foster connections with international healthcare institutions and enhance research and collaboration opportunities.

The day concluded with a campus tour and a meeting with Professor Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Ajman University, further strengthening ties between the institutions.
