Congratulations to Our College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Team on their achievement in the ICPM

The College of Pharmacy students recently showcased their talents and dedication by actively participating in the prestigious International Conference of Pharmacy and Medicine (ICPM), where they not only engaged in various professional activities but also excelled in multiple competitions, earning numerous awards. This conference served as a platform for students to present their research, exchange knowledge, and interact with experts and peers in the field of pharmacy.

Ms. Alaa Farajallah, a senior instructor at COPHS delivered an insightful presentation on the qualitative impact of a medication reconciliation educational module among hospital pharmacists in the UAE. The study highlighted the module's success in enhancing pharmacists' knowledge, perceptions, and practices while addressing barriers such as time constraints and resource limitations. The findings emphasized the need for broader dissemination of such educational initiatives to advance medication safety and patient care.

We are proud to announce that the Pharmacy student, Yomna Tariq Hamdi, has secured first place in the Regulatory Affairs Question Competition, organized by Radex Company at the ICPM.

We are also thrilled that our students Maryam Ramadan and Tasneem Hisham have won second place in the poster competition. Their research poster, titled “Comparative Assessment of Physicochemical Properties of Antacid Suspensions Available in the UAE,”
which was presented under the esteemed supervision of Prof. Sai H.S. Boddu, Dr. Richie Bhandare and Mr. Sohaib Khan.

We are also delighted to announce that our students Resam Nidal, Fatma Al-Shehhi, and Zahra Rahimi have achieved third place in the poster competition by their insightful research poster, titled “Latest Developments in Contraceptive Medications: Innovations and Future Directions in the Middle East and Global Context,” which was presented under the esteemed supervision of Prof. Sai H.S.

We are proud to announce that our talented team of students Maryam Ramadan, Maryam Hamed, Alenoud Kamel, Ruaa Mohamed, Taimaa Abdulhasib, and Tasneem Hisham have secured third place in the prestigious scientific competition.  Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence have brought great pride to our college, and we commend them for their outstanding achievement.
