Celebration of the International HPV Awareness Day

In celebration of the International HPV Awareness Day, and under the direction of the Dean, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences organized a student-led health awareness event focused on Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Pharmacy and Nursing students took the initiative to educate their peers on HPV risks, including cervical cancer, and the importance of vaccination.

Held at the J1 building, the event featured an HPV vaccination awareness drive, interactive activities, and a presentation by students on transmission, prevention, and the role of vaccination. This initiative showcased the college’s commitment to community health education and highlighted the vital role future pharmacists and nurses play in promoting public health beyond clinical settings.
