Breast cancer campaign awareness by Nursing students

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, nursing students from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) and the Nursing Student Club joined AUWEC's campaign to educate women in AU community on the importance of early breast cancer detection. Under the supervision of Dr. Deema Mahasneh and Ms. Ala’a Al Amiry, students shared self-examination techniques, emphasizing that early detection boosts survival rates. Leaflets with exam schedules and symptom checklists were distributed, and participants practiced on manikin models, receiving giveaways to commemorate the event.
