Two students from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Doaa Rafik and Mira Samir supervised by Dr. Nihal Ibrahim have participated by a novel innovative project in the 11th cycle of the Sharjah Sustainability Award. The project was well recognized and short listed by the evaluators.
The students chose the domain of “Human and Environmental Health Protection”, where they designed a new smart drug disposal technique with the help of the Ajman University Innovation Center. This smart technique does not harm the environment and also protects the health of the community. Simply dispensing unwanted medical waste through this smart and innovative machine for proper disposal to avoid environmental health hazards.
