A dedicated team comprised of Nazanin Ajam, Shahad Tayseer, Maha Naeem and supervised by Dr. Nihal Ibrahim, represented the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University in the Inter-College Environmental Public Speaking Competition, graciously hosted by the Emirates Environmental Group. The engaging topic, "Rising Energy Demands: Satiable with Renewable Energy or Oil Indispensable?" served as the cornerstone of the participation.
Throughout the competition, the students not only delved into the nuanced complexities of global energy demands but also honed their public speaking skills. Articulating their perspectives on the environmental, economic, and long-term aspects of renewable energy versus conventional oil sources, and embraced the challenge of effective communication.
The experience gained by the students proved invaluable in refining their ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and impact. This event has inspired them to further enhance their speaking skills and reinforce their commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges beyond the confines of their academic discipline.
