College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences students participate in a medical symposium at Ajman Specialty Hospital

The College actively engages with local healthcare centers and fosters a culture of active engagement and collaboration with their training sites.  On September 26, 2023, the final year B. Pharm students participated in the event hosted by the Ajman Specialty Hospital and the venue was Majlis Al-Safia in Ajman. The event was coordinated by Dr. Alaa Farajallah from the Office of Experiential Learning at the college with her counterparts at the hospital.  This event was organized as part of the celebration of Education Month, and it brought together final-year B. Pharm students of the college. The medical symposium was a remarkable opportunity for the students to gain valuable insights. Distinguished physicians, each specializing in unique areas of medicine, took the stage to discuss various diseases and their management strategies. It proved to be a highly informative and enriching experience, aligning perfectly with the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration with local healthcare centers. It was an invaluable opportunity for the students to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and the college remains deeply appreciative to Ajman Specialty General Hospital for being a steadfast partner in the educational journey.
