Three students in MSc in Clinical Pharmacy program participated in the First AAU International Conference on Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences by presenting their Posters. This conference aimed to bring leading regional and international researchers to exchange and share their experiences in pharmacy, nutrition, biomedical and clinical sciences. They invited scientists, professors, pharmacists, nutritionists, practitioners, and students to participate. The conference was held at Al Ain University -Abu Dhabi campus on the 18-19th of January. The students Lamees Alakhras presented a poster by the title of “Development of the Asthma Knowledge Test (AKT) for assessing Patient Knowledge of Asthma”, the student Raghd F. F. Alaila presented a poster titled: “Development and psychometric evaluation of the infectious numeracy test (INT)” while the student: Abdallah Hassan Awad Abd Al Magied presented two posters titled: “Evaluation of UAE Pharmacists’ Knowledge and Attitudes on the Quality and Efficacy of Face Masks, Hand Sanitizers, and Alcohol Sprays Sold During the COVID-19 Pandemic” AND “Evaluating Pharmacists’ Practice and Ability to Recognize Medication Errors Among Self-Medicating Patients in the UAE – A Simulated Patient Study”.
