The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (COPHS) hosted an international visitor Prof. Munira Momin, Principal & Prof. at Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy (BNCP), Mumbai, India on March 16th. COPHS currently has an active MOU and has published three research papers with BNCP. Prof. Munira during her visit interacted with faculties and HODs and discussed about various types of research collaborations with COPHS. Prof. Munira’s area of expertise is Brain targeted Drug delivery system, functionalized nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery systems, translational research with industry scalability potential. She took a college tour of research labs with Dr. Akram Ashames (Assoc Prof & Head of Laboratories). She later presented a talk on “Relevance of collaborative learning and research ethics and innovation in pharmaceutical sectors.” It was well received by our UG students and faculties.
