The webinar was jointly organized by AU and BNCP. Faculty, staff and student body of both universities were invited to attend the webinar. The students in BNCP were senior students from the 4th year of the Pharmacy college.
Dr. Zehra Edis elaborated about the topic of Antimicrobial Resistance and the need for new drugs constituted from iodine and plant-biomaterials.
The aim of the talk was to present research and collaborative research with BNCP.
After the talk, was followed by a rich questions and answers session.
Professor Nageeb Hassan, Dean of the Pharmacy college, acknowledged the webinar as a part of the international collaboration efforts of the college that will enrich the research productivity of the Faculty as well as the learning experience of the students.
The principal of BNCP, Dr. Tabassum Khan thanked AU and stressed on the need to continue the collaboration between the two prestigious institutes. BNCP has signed a MoU with AU since 2021.
