The Department of Clinical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences organized a Preceptor Orientation session targeting Pharmaceutical marketing personnel (preceptors) on December 21, 2022. The participants were marketing department managers from pharmaceutical companies, importers, and medicine distributors, who will be involved in training the final year B.Pharm students on the Pharmaceutical marketing training course. The resource people were the Clinical Sciences Department Head (Dr Muaed Alomar), the Experiential Learning Coordinator (Dr Subish Palaian), and other training team member (Dr Sawsan Shanableh). The program's goal was to familiarize the preceptors with the course learning outcomes, tasks to be performed by the trainees, assessment process, etc., related to the training. The various assessment tools to be used in the training course and feedback mechanisms available for the students were discussed in detail. This session provided an opportunity for close interaction between the College and the training sites in administering high-quality training.
