The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Ajman University bagged two awards at the recently concluded DUPHAT 2021 held in Dubai from April 5-7. The second-year pharmacy students Nadieh Raed Zhour Adi and Hibat Errahmane Zitouni were awarded the First Best Pharmacy Poster under the “Thematic” category for their poster titled “Insilico tools to assess the physichochemical, pharmacokinetic and molecular docking of aryl/heteroaryl chalcones as antitubercular agents. Also, students Tala Samie Dib and Soheil Soleiman Dashti Nezhad were awarded the Fourth Best Pharmacy Poster under the category “Quality” for their poster titled “Assessment of physicochemical, pharmacokinetic properties and molecular docking studies of dihydropyrazoles as antitubercular ligands by Insilico tools”. The students were jointly supervised by Dr. Richie R. Bhandare, Ms. Haya Yassin and in collaboration with Dr. Afzal Basha Shaik from Vignan Pharmacy College, India.
