Ajman University students participate in World Quality Assurance Day

World Quality Day held every second Thursday in November.  World Quality Day provides a chance to reflect on the role of quality management in our lives. It’s also a day to think about how individuals and team members can develop more efficient processes, systems, and outcomes.

This year on 11th November, 2021, students from college of pharmacy and health sciences participated in this world event in Dr. Suliman Al Habib hospital/ Dubai under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Shanabli, AU faculty member and Dr. Ahlam Alqudaimat, Inpatient pharmacy manager. They actively engaged with the public community and health care providers in hospital to achieve the main purpose of the day which is raising the quality awareness and supporting economic prosperity for individuals and organizations around the world to adopt high-quality standards.

The theme for this year was “Sustainability: Improving Our Products, People, and Planet." The emphasis was on the importance of quality in sustainability and its influence on environmental, social, and governance (ESG). Excellent quality management helps businesses achieve excellence in all that they do. Quality professionals focus on five areas, which include governance, assurance, improvement, leadership, and context.

It was a nice experience for students to be part of this event and communicate directly with public community and management of hospital.
