Ajman-UAE: January 02, 2020 – Ajman University (AU) students, in light of their social responsibility and commitment to promote public health awareness, have contributed several first aid kits to different entities.
As per the move, which is part of the First Aids Course, the students contributed full first aid kits to the ministry of community development in Sharjah, Juma Al Majid Charity School in Sharjah, and the Canadian Nursery in Ajman.
Other kits were also presented to the Fast Company in Sharjah, Al Ihsan Medical Complex in Ajman along with some beauty salons, sports clubs, taxi drivers, and a ballroom in Umm Al Quwain.
AU students had assumed the same initiative in previous semesters under the supervision of Ms. Alaa Al Ameri, a Lecturer at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, AU.
The pioneering scheme is aimed to integrate the first aid course in the society via student activities as per the University strategy and vision to integrate into the society through community service.
Records show that Ajman University students have so far contributed 34 first aid kits in all semesters.
