On Monday, September 16th, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, the Healthcare Simulation and Clinical Competence Centre (HSCCC) at College of Medicine AU hosted the annual Clinical Simulation Event, aligned with the global SSH Sim Week 2024 under the theme "Launchpad to Legacy: What's Your Next?"
The event brought together students from Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Biomedical Engineering to enhance interprofessional collaboration. A variety of simulation games were held, including:
SIM GAME 1: "Code Blue Blitz" – CPR Challenge
SIM GAME 2: Moulage Madness
SIM GAME 3: "Escape MedBay 2100" – SIM Escape Room
SIM GAME 4: LapSim Champs – Surgical Skills Challenge
These were team-based games, and we are proud to announce that our nursing students won SIM GAME 1: "Code Blue Blitz" – CPR Challenge. Congratulations to Reem Saad Mohammed Salem and Shahd Saeed Abdel Monem our 1st year Nursing students for their outstanding performance in securing first place!
Additionally, two academic staff members of COPHS participated as judges: Dr. Kusrini Kadar for Moulage Madness and Ms. Ala’a Al Amiry for Code Blue Blitz. Professor Abeer Alghananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences congratulates COPHS participants and winners for their outstanding performances and their dedication to supporting Interprofessional Education (IPE) at Ajman University.
