The Experiential Learning office at the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences participated in World Pharmacist Day with King’s College Hospital London Dubai on 25th September 2023. The aim of the event was to promote awareness among hospital visitors and staff on the role of pharmacists in enhancing patient safety. Under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Shanableh (Ajman University) and Dr. Ahlam Alqudaimat (King’s College Hospital London Dubai), the students undergoing experiential learning rotations at the hospital enrolled in the event. The students involved in arranging the events and engaged in communicating patient safety issues to the target audience. During the event, through educational seminars, community outreach, and a robust social media campaign, students disseminated essential information to the public, emphasizing the importance of safe and responsible medication use. Their efforts not only contributed to the celebration of World Pharmacist Day but also highlighted the dedication of future pharmacists to serving their communities. Further, their active participation showcased their commitment to raising awareness about the vital role pharmacists play in healthcare.
