Dr. El-Shaimaa A. Arafa is an associate professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology that joined the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Ajman University, Ajman Campus in August 2014. She received her Ph.D. from Cairo university in Egypt under a joint program with The Ohio State University in USA in May 2009. Her career is a merge between research and academia; she had a research fellowship at the Ohio state University between June 2009 and December 2010 and she worked as an assistant and associate professor in different universities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Finally United Arab Emirates.
