This course introduces students to the scope of community and population health. This course focuses on the theoretical foundations of providing nursing care in community settings. Topics covered include health promotion, health education, disease prevention, community assessment, and population health management. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to provide holistic and culturally sensitive care to diverse populations within the community.
