Overview
The Family and Society Conference stands as a premier international platform dedicated to examining the shifting dynamics of families amidst today’s challenges. Building on the success of the inaugural event held on April 24-25, 2024, which spotlighted "Family Studies and Digital Transformation," the upcoming second edition aims to broaden the discussion, with a particular focus on sustainability and intergenerational solidarity.
The 2025 conference will build upon insights generated in the first edition, which gathered 70 researchers and distinguished speakers such as Dr. Amel Belhaj Moussa, Tunisia’s Minister of Family, Women, Childhood, and Elderly Affairs; Dr. Mimouna Al-Khalil, Secretary General of Saudi Arabia’s Family Affairs Council; Professor Glenn Muschert from Khalifa University for science and Technology and Dr. Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Trends Research & Advisory in the UAE. Through a series of dynamic sessions, participants addressed critical issues in family studies, offering practical recommendations to enhance family resilience in a digital world.
