The Student Success Center at Ajman University Celebrates its Peer Tutors and their Achievements

The Student Success Center (SSC) at Ajman University hosted its first Peer Tutors Gathering, an event dedicated to fostering a sense of connection and teamwork among peer tutors while acknowledging and celebrating their contributions.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, the event brought together over 70 attendees, including peer tutors, SSC team members, and esteemed guests. The gathering aimed to recognize the tutors' dedication and the positive impact they have on students' academic journeys.

The evening began with opening remarks by Ms. Elkhansa Yagoub, Ceremonies and Events Officer, who warmly welcomed the attendees and set the tone for the event. Professor Nadir Kheir, Center Manager, then delivered a speech emphasizing the essential role of peer tutors in promoting academic excellence and collaboration. An interactive icebreaker game, "Two Truths and a Lie," led by the Center Director, encouraged attendees to share personal anecdotes, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The evening culminated in a buffet dinner, offering a relaxed setting for meaningful conversations and networking.

The event concluded with group photos and informal networking, leaving attendees motivated and inspired for the year ahead. The SSC extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants for making this gathering a resounding success.
