The College of Mass Communication participated in a seminar titled "The Role of Media Psychology in Shaping Youth Values and Attitudes" as part of the cultural program organized by the Sociological Association alongside the 2024 Sharjah International Book Fair. Dr. Amal Badr, an Associate Professor in the College of Mass Communication, presented the seminar, which was moderated by Dr. Ruqayya Al Raisi, President of the Association.

During the seminar, Dr. Amal Badr examined the impact of media psychology on shaping and strengthening values and attitudes among young people through various media platforms. She emphasized the importance of dialogue and the role of media in conveying positive messages that promote social and ethical values, as well as supporting critical thinking and the pursuit of truth. Dr. Badr also explored the challenges faced in this field and suggested effective strategies to enhance it, aiming to empower youth and support their positive personal and community development.
