The Aviation Club at Ajman University organized, as part of its annual activities, a visit to the Aviation Academy at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. The visit, which included around 20 students from various majors, aimed to introduce them to the atmosphere and fields of the aviation profession, positively impacting their future careers.
Pilot Rizwan, the head of Airways Aviation Academy, warmly welcomed the students and provided a detailed explanation about the aviation profession in general. He then guided them on a tour of the academy and the aircraft, helping them learn about its components. Additionally, he simulated an emergency situation to demonstrate to the students how to handle such cases.
The visit was organized by the Aviation Club at Ajman University to familiarize students and satisfy their curiosity about various aviation-related questions, including the aviation profession, how to pilot an aircraft, managing take-offs and landings, and handling emergency situations.
The visit also aimed to provide students with an overview of this career path, highlighting its importance and the various supporting and specialized disciplines it offers. Additionally, the visit was designed to foster a sense of community among the students, encouraging positive interactions with one another and with the surrounding society, while also helping them develop valuable skills for their personal and professional growth.
