Department of Architecture and college of Engineering of Ajman University, in cooperation with the Chartered Institute of British Architects, organized a lecture for the students of the department entitled "Architecture Technology: Professional Perspective". Alexander Narayan, President of the Chartered Institute, and Francesca Pearman, Chief Executive Officer, presented the lecture.
The lecture addressed the importance of creating professional vision among students and graduates, which contributes to providing inspiration and insight into their careers in the field of architecture, along with its value, impact and features. Through the lecture, students were able to learn about several aspects of the architectural profession and how the Institute could provide support to them.
The lecturers reviewed the Institute's profile, the various programs it provides and the services it provides. They spoke about the links between architecture and technology, how technology is used to serve architecture, and reviewed a range of global models that have used technology to deliver community services and architectural projects in their contemporary style.
A large number of students attended the lecture from the Department of Architecture and members of the academic staff of the department.
