AU Signs MoU with French Medical School

Ajman University signed a memorandum of Understanding with International French Osteopathic Medical School, IOB – France. College of Dentistry has always promoted its students interest both locally and regionally. The agreement was signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, AU Chancellor and Dr. Vincent Staf, Founder and CEO of Osteopathic Medical School. Also present were Vice Chancellors, Deans and Head of Departments.

College of Dentistry and the French Medical School had jointly organized a specialized workshop on contemporary Osteopathic Medical Treatment of TMD. It outlined and reviewed the various types of disorders affecting the jaw joint temporomandibular, and methods for diagnosis and treatment. He talked about the different calendar methods used in the treatment of jaw joint, which would reduce the need for surgical intervention in the treatment of these disorders, and works to relieve disorders and pain and spasms caused by TMJ disorders and muscular jaw surrounding it.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Staf, who expressed his keenness on holding accredited courses worldwide in this genre of medicine. These enhance the career opportunities of the physicians. The French school has numerous agreements and ties with prestigious Universities in the UK and Spain. The French delegation included,  Dr. Piscione Seraphin, Dentist and Dr. Lancelin Paul, Dentist as well.
