Stellar Speaker Highlights Inclusive Entrepreneurship at Idea Café Talk

Innovation Centre Ajman (ICA) specializes in incubating ideas into profitable enterprises and nurturing young minds towards excellence and entrepreneurships. In its endeavors, ICA is set to organize Idea Café on every first Thursday of the month, wherein a renowned speaker shall delivers a lecture or workshop for the public and students, explained Dr. Abdullah Ismail, Director ICA.

This month kick started on a similar note when ICA initiated the series to talks under the umbrella of Idea Café by inviting the stellar guest speaker Ms. Jacqueline Winstanley. She delivered an insightful talk on “Creating the 2030 Agenda Paradigm Shift: Inclusive Entrepreneurship”.  Her drive to pursue this career is based on personal struggles and experiences; she spreads awareness and empowers the differently abled special people, mentoring them to venture into entrepreneurship.

Ms. Jacqueline Winstanley is a British citizen and is a well-known global speaker on Entrepreneurship. She reflected on her deeply held and proven conviction about increasing the equality of access to life’s opportunities through the creation of Inclusive environments. She highlighted her global campaign to help create entrepreneurial opportunities for disabled people with the support of government and policy-making institutions.

She is an author and a regular contributor to national & international advisory boards. She also currently serves as a mentor for Virgin Start Up. Jacqueline has influenced significant changes in the UK Government’s policy with regard to her initiatives.

The talk was ensued by an open discussion and Q&A session. The students and faculty members actively participated in the discussion and Q& A session that ensued the talk. The speaker and guests toured the ICA facilities to meet the incubates of the projects enrolled in the innovation program, they shared their ideas with them observed the ongoing projects.
