The College of Law at Ajman University has hosted a conference entitled “Prospects for legal and judicial administration”, at Ajman campus, in collaboration with The Academy of Law at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The conference was delivered by DIFC Courts’ judge H.E. Justice Ali Al Madhani, Chairman of the Middle East Board of International Association for Court Administration (IACA), who focused on new means of legal and judicial administration followed by the DIFC courts, that guarantee speed and transparency when solving commercial and civil disputes.
The conference was attended by Dr. Lateefah Mohammed, Dean, College of Law at Ajman University, Professors and faculty members from many universities; Ajman University, Sharjah University, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, The American University in the Emirates, along with judges, legal professionals and law students.
The conference come in line with the MoU signed in 2016 between College of Law, AU and the DIFC The Law Academy. This cooperation focuses on the best legal and judicial practices in the country.
The conference was followed by an interactive debate. At the end, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Lateefah Mohammed, honoured the participants and stressed the importance of holding such activities to achieve the college's policy and vision to connect the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect.
