Introductory Session at the Female Hostel
University Housing Office organized an introductory session for the new students at the Female Student’s Residence at Ajman University. Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs along with Engineer Lina Tayfoor, Director of the University Housing Office and Dr. Rasha Abdullah, Acting Director of Student Counselling Office presided over the meeting.
Dr. Nahla whilst welcoming the new students introduced the stimulating environment that the housing provides to students who are living on campus. She encouraged students to actively participate in the events and activities organized by the University. She also called upon them to send forth their ideas and views on any aspect of their life on campus.
Engineer Lina outlined in detail the rules and regulations of hostel. She also briefed them on the important information that will facilitate ease and access for the tenure of their stay in the hostel.
Dr. Rasha Abdulla presented the counselling offices’ support profile for the AU students. She explained about the useful advices that encourages students to make progress in their academic and personal lives.
Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi reiterated her welcome to the second home of the students and wished them a successful academic year ahead. The meeting ended on a scrumptious note of dinner in the female halls of residence.
