International Conference of Pharmacy and Medicine at AU in November
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman , Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University. The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University In collaboration with Al Hazm Industrial Investment is organizing the first “International Conference of Pharmacy and Medicine (ICPM)” from 9-11 November 2017 at Sheikh Zayed Hall for Conferences & Exhibitions in Ajman University.
This was announced by Mr. Abdullah Khalfan Al Kindi, CEO of Hazim Industrial Investments, during a press conference recently held in Sharjah. It was attended by the number of industry experts, professionals, members of the organizing team and representatives of the media from across UAE.
Dr. Najib Abdul Jalil, Dean, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at AU was explained that the concept of the conference is in line with the University 's strategy of direct communication between them and the labour market to facilitate their graduates. Breaking the barrier between the academic community and the labor market in the field of health services to better serve the society.
Dr. Najib further stressed that from the University has always supported the scientific research and development that positively contributes to the knowledge economy. The university regularly organizes international scientific conferences, in cooperation with health institutions in UAE. In this context, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University will organize this conference in collaboration with a qualified university graduates representing multinational companies, thereby reflecting the efficiency and quality of university graduates in the labor market.
Dr. Najib stressed that the conference aims at strengthening the role of health care institutions, and the expansion of the perceptions of students, taking up this profession, in line with economic growth, promote employment, and the expansion of international cooperation in scientific research. He pointed out that the conference will have more than 20 lectures covering different subjects, and 4 specialized workshops run by prominent figures, and more than 500 participants will attend the conference. There will also be on the sidelines a medical exhibition representing more than 60 companies offering their products and services.
