Engineering Emerge Champions at Football Tournament

Sports Unit at Students Affairs organized a football championship. 12 teams from all the departments participated in the tournament. The finals were played off between the College of Engineering and College of Dentistry Teams where in Engineering won the championship 3-1.

Asma Al Shamsi, manager of the sports Unit awarded the winners and participants at the closing ceremony.

Sports provide a much needed activity for students and at AU students are encouraged to participate in all sporting activities to ensure a “healthy body leads to a healthy mind”.
