Cooperation Agreement between AU and Ajman Public Transport Corporation

Ajman University signed a MoU with Ajman Public Transport Corporation in order to build bridges of cooperation between the two entities in order to promote the effective role and joint collaborations between the public and private institutions in the Emirates of Ajman.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor Ajman University and His Excellency Engineer Omar Ahmed, Director General of Ajman Transport.

On this occasion, Chancellor Seghir, stated that the university is keen to strengthen its relationship with the various institutions and bodies in the UAE in general but specially in the emirate of Ajman. He pointed out that the university seeks to be an active partner in the progress of the UAE society, and an active contributor to the job market by graduating all rounded individuals who excel in their fields.

Dr. Karim explained that Ajman University due to the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ajman University. AU is replete with many experiences and competencies that support the modernization and institutional development efforts, including consolidating its role in the service of society.

Chancellor Seghir added that this agreement will contribute to the achievement of common goals between the two entities through the utilization of the Center for Continuing Education at the University. The centre regularly provides various training programs which are of interest to the Public Transport Agency staff in the Emirate of Ajman and this paves the way for the exchange of educational experiences.
